Thankful Thursday–The “Fun” Edition

 

It’s been a fun week.

On Monday we took a trip up to Dallas to visit with my friend Karen (@ourpicketfence) and her girls. So fun!

 

 

(Please excuse my out-of-control hair! One of my fun things later in the week was getting it cut.)

 

Our girls have a lot in common, and really enjoyed the time together. Karen and I had a wonderful time chatting. And now I know there’s someone else who hates bugs as much as I do!

 

On Wednesday, my youngest left on a fun adventure.

Camp! And although she was a tad nervous–this being her first time and all–she was excited about what she’s going to get to do this week.

 

She’s going with a great group of people, and I can’t wait to hear all about her time away.

 

Other fun stuff I’m thankful for:

• I have a chance to sing on the worship team at the chapel we are attending. It has been a while and I’ve missed it.
• Both my girls are getting to know people and enjoying the youth group they’re a part of.
• We got to eat at In-N-Out on our way home from Dallas! Yay!
• The girls are I are looking forward to a trip to California to spend some time with my family.
