I get the privilege today to introduce to you Economics for Everybody: Applying Biblical Principles to Work, Wealth, and the World.

This homeschool economics curriculum is done by Compass Classroom. It is a 12-lesson DVD set with an accompanying study guide for students. (Also available on the Compass Classroom website is a complete scope-and-sequence and answer guide for the teacher.) The set is $70.00 on the Compass Classroom website.
Economics for Everybody is designed to be a one-semester economics credit for high school students. It can be used as a stand-alone curriculum or as a supplement for those desiring a more intense study. There are complete instructions for how to use the curriculum for either.

My Thoughts
Truthfully, we won’t be using this curriculum until next year, simply because we’re finishing up American History right now. Economics and Government are slated for junior year.
However, I have watched a couple of the videos and read through the study guide, as well as looked through the scope-and-sequence. I really like what this curriculum offers! The Biblical and historical contexts and constructs are so very valuable. Just look at the lesson titles:

I believe any student taking this course will come away with a solid foundation in Biblical economic and stewardship principles. The video lessons themselves are interesting and easy to understand, and I’m confident they’ll keep my teenager’s attention.
